Our in-person conference takes place at the Whistle Convention Centre on June 7-9, 2023, with one pre-conference event being offered on June 6. Please plan to arrive early to allow for extra time to get checked into the venue and to pick up your name badge.

Can I purchase guests tickets, one-day passes or a session pass?

  • Guest tickets, one-day passes and session passes will not be available for the 2022 National Conference

How many Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours will I obtain?

  • In-person or Virtual Conference: Earn 14 hours
  • Expo: Earn 2 hours (Certified Members must self-declare these hours)
  • Career Development Bootcamp: Earn 3 hours (Certified Members must self-declare these hours

 

What if I have dietary restrictions?

  • There is an opportunity to indicate special dietary restrictions during the registration process. Please note that we will do everything in its power to accommodate restrictions and allergies

 

How do I request accessibility services?

 

What should I wear?

  • We recommend business casual/ smart casual attire for the entire conference. Dress pants or jeans, dresses, blouses, sport coat (tie or no tie – up to you!), are welcome. Niagara Falls Convention Centre meeting rooms tend to be chilly so please bring a blazer or a sweater.
  • Fun Night evening event — we recommend smart casual.

When will I receive the delegate kit?

  • NEW! We are excited to announce that we have curated a personal online shopping experience for paid delegates. This will replace the on-site delegate bags and water bottles. You will be provided with a $50.00 e-gift card to spend on a variety of items at different price levels – the choice is yours. Any overage you incur will be charged to your credit card. Please note, fulfillment of items in the conference store will be managed by a third party service provider (McLoughlin.ca). Any questions regarding your order fulfillment should be directed to the service provider.The store link will be available on March 28, 2022. You will receive your personal e-gift card link 48 hours after you receive your conference registration confirmation. The store will close on June 15th, 2022.

What is the cancellation policy?
You may cancel your conference registration in accordance with the following cancellation policy;

  • If you cancel your conference registration before Wednesday, May 25, 2022, you will be refunded your registration fee, less a $250 administrative fee (plus applicable taxes).
  • To request a refund, an email must be sent to conference@payroll.ca by Wednesday, May 25, 2022, 11:59 PM EST.
  • Your registration is non-transferable to another person or between the Virtual and In-Person events
  • No refunds will be given after Wednesday, May 25, 2022.
  • We reserve the right to cancel, change or substitute program dates or content without further notice and assumes no liability for these changes. Payment of registration confirms that you have read, understand, agree, and comply with the published registration cancellation policy.
  • No shows for the event will not receive a refund or credit.
  • Travel Restrictions: If due to COVID-19 travel restrictions are imposed in the province or country from which you are traveling prevents your in-person attendance, we will work with you to credit the registration value towards a future event or refund the full amount.
  • Please remember that canceling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. You are responsible for canceling your own hotel and travel reservations.
