Travel   

Travel to the 2026 National Payroll Conference with VIA Rail for a convenient option. The Montréal Central Train Station is situated directly below our 2026 National Payroll Conference location, Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth, with direct access from the station to the hotel.

VIA Rail Canada is proud to be the official ground transportation partner for the 2026 National Payroll Conference.   

VIA Rail is offering a 10% discount on the best available fare in Economy, Economy Plus, Business, Business Plus, and Sleeper class*. The travel period begins May 26, 2026 – June 12, 2026, and is valid for travel from all stations throughout the VIA Rail system to Montréal and return, for a maximum of two passengers per booking.

Air Canada   

Air Canada is the official airline for the National Payroll Institute’s Conference. You can now book your conference travel online at aircanada.com. The travel period begins Monday, May 25, 2026, and ends Saturday, June 13, 2026. For North America a 5% discount on standard fares or 10% on flex fares and higher. For International Travel’ 10% on standard fares & higher. To qualify for discounts on air travel for the Institute’s National Conference, you must enter promotion code V8KCXRN1 when booking online or through your travel agent. WestJet is also offering special fares to delegates travelling to Montreal for the Institute’s National Conference. The travel period begins Saturday, May 23, 2026, and ends Sunday, June 14, 2026. Montréal–Trudeau International Airport is a 20-minute drive to Montréal’s downtown core. There are several options from local transit to hotel shuttles, taxi, limo, or Uber – more details on options can be found here.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel your conference registration under the following conditions:

  • Cancellations received on or before Wednesday, May 13, 2026, will be refunded, less a $200 administrative fee (plus applicable taxes).
  • To request a refund, you must email conference@payroll.ca by Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
  • No refunds will be issued after Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
  • No-shows will not receive a credit, refund, or CPE hours.

The National Payroll Institute reserves the right to cancel, modify, or substitute program dates or content without prior notice and assumes no liability for such changes. Payment of registration confirms your acceptance of these terms.
